Restraint is a feature
Anyone can add. The harder discipline is knowing what to leave out — the sentence, the section, the flourish that was only ever there to impress. We design for the person on the other side of the screen, and their time is the budget we spend most carefully.
That conviction shows up everywhere: in a type scale that breathes, in colour used sparingly, and in pages that load instantly because there is nothing extra to load.
